Lead was commonly used in paint prior to 1978.  Lead based paint can become a hazard as it deteriorates.  Lead dust has been shown to cause serious neurological and health problems, especially in children under the age 6.

Lead Inspections include the determination of lead based paint on every painted surface inside and outside a home or business.  Our licensed technicians will either take paint chip samples or use an XRF to determine the presence of lead based paint.  A detailed report is provided to include the location, color, and amount of lead found.

Risk Assessments are the determination of whether or not lead hazards exist in a home or business.  Our licensed technicians will take floor, windowsill, window trough, and soil samples to determine if the lead is present in quantities to be detrimental to the health of the occupants.  Risk assessments are commonly performed after a lead inspection if lead based paint is found.  We provide a detailed report of the hazards and the methods to treat and control the hazards.
